A culinary tour of Peru will allow you to explore its delicious gastronomy, from the origin of the different types of cuisine to the local ingredients, which provide for the fascinating Peruvian seasoning. The first part of this journey will take place in Lima, culinary centre of Peru. Lima is, without a doubt, the best place to enjoy the variety of dishes that coexist within the Peruvian gastronomy and influence its growth and creativity day to day. Your guide and chef will not only take you to a selection of fine restaurants, but will also show you picturesque, interesting places where to find the fresh ingredients you will use to prepare special dishes.
The second destination will be the city of Arequipa, where, in contrast to the refinement seen in Lima, you will enjoy a unique typical cuisine and learn about new ingredients and dishes that date from a hundred-year-old culinary art.
Finally, the city of Cusco and its whereabouts will invite you to experience a more rural, country gastronomy. You will actively participate in the preparation of dishes based on unique techniques, at the time you broaden your culinary and cultural horizons.
To make the most out of this trip, you will visit world-famous destinations, such as the ancient citadel of Machu Picchu.
