LAKE TITICACA, LLACHON AND TAQUILE ISLAND (3 days)

Lake Titicaca is the highest navigable lake in the world (3800m / 12.468f). On its waters lies the island of Taquile, anciently inhabited by pre-Inca races that left ruins, a large amount of terracing and an impressive network of trails around the entire island. The people of these islands are proud of keeping alive their customs, dress, language and a unique political and social organization. During these three days we will visit the most remote shores of the lake, sleep in a rural lodge, kayak around Taquile Island and walk the ancient pre-Inca trails. Deep connection with nature and interaction with the local people are some of the highlights of this trip. Click here for more info and photos...
