ABOUTUS

In Tanit Trails we believe traveling means creating one’s history through unique memories. For this reason in every journey we focus to deliver only the best. We want our travelers to discover and take pleasure in the little details others overlook, details that turn a trip into a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Our vision and work are set on foundations of respect and commitment to our natural and social environment.

THE ASSOCIATES

Tanit Trails was created by three childhood friends who, for years, had the opportunity to travel throughout inland Peru. Driven by their experiences, they decided to start a company that embodied not only the reflection of their own hobbies, but also the cultural and natural marvels that have surrounded their lives for a long time.

Nicolas Ramírez: With almost ten years of experience in the tourism field, he currently plans, organizes and supervises most of our trips within Peru. He has lived in the three regions of the Peruvian territory (coast, Andes and jungle), getting to meet extraordinary people, and to visit amazing locations. This is what inspired him to start the company.

Andres Cabrerizo: He works for a multinational food company, which led him to live abroad for many years. Today, he is in charge of the Peruvian subsidiary and his acquired corporate expertise contributes to the company’s development. He is an amateur surfer and photographer, and considers nature an essential part of his daily life.

Andrew Michell: He studied in London and holds an MBA from Kellogg. His education, experience and contacts benefit the company on a daily basis. His being a shareholder of Michell & Co. allows our travellers to access the world of alpacas and vicuñas in a distinctive way. Both his work and love for fishing often take him visit the most remote places of the Peruvian coast and Andes.
