Fabulous downhills, various kilometres along a rarely used Inca Trail, relaxing thermal baths, and an unforgettable night under the stars, are some of the things we will enjoy on this two day trip, which leads us to join an ancient road between two important valleys in the Cusco area.

Day 1 – Cusco - Lares

The bus picks you up early in the morning from your hotel in Cusco, to take you on a 3-hour trip to the highest point on the way between Cusco and the Lares Valley (4470m / 14665f) Once on the mountain pass, we get the bicycles ready to begin what will be a relaxing day of mild dirt road downhill. On the way we find the time to stop for a light lunch and enjoy the beautiful views of the region.

Once in Lares, it is only matter of relaxing and enjoying the natural thermal baths.

Day 2 – Lares - Cusco

  • Average riding distance: 20km

After a final bath and a nutritious breakfast, our transport drives you back to the mountain pass. This time you head down to the Sacred Valley. The ancient Inca Trail and a quick flowing narrow stream lead you on the way down. Without even noticing it, you go into a small hidden canyon where you not only enjoy the emotions of a great biking experience over an ancient Inca Trail, but also delight your senses with the particular beauty of the area.

The path finally leads you to the native community of Totora, where you may decide whether following a narrow single track offering breath-taking views of the Sacred Valley, or just continue riding on the wide dirt road leading to Calca town.
